How it works

Purpose-built for authorized internal support

Every connection begins with a named target, an approved identity and a protocol choice that matches the Windows environment.

01

One workspace for internal remote assistance

Enter a computer name, DNS host name or IP address, choose native LanRemoteAssist, Remote Desktop or VNC, and keep the entire connection workflow visible in one Console.

02

Access that follows company policy

Use a local administrator, a domain account or the current Windows login where the selected protocol supports it. Windows authentication, firewall and application-control policy remain authoritative.

03

Support activity that remains accountable

Attended native sessions can require local approval, organization-managed access requires explicit enrollment, and operational events are recorded as metadata without passwords or screen content.

Frequently asked questions

LAN remote assistance FAQ

What is LAN remote assistance?

LAN remote assistance lets an authorized operator view or control a computer over the organization's private local network rather than routing the session through a public relay service.

Does LanRemoteAssist scan the network?

No. The Console connects only to the computer or address entered by the user or selected from the authorized Active Directory browser.

Can the supported user approve the session?

Yes. Attended native support can require the person at the target computer to approve every session.

Which Windows versions are supported?

The product is designed for supported Windows 10, Windows 11 and Windows Server environments, subject to the target's Windows and network policies.
