How it works

Purpose-built for authorized internal support

Every connection begins with a named target, an approved identity and a protocol choice that matches the Windows environment.

01

Choose the appropriate support protocol

Use native LanRemoteAssist, standard Remote Desktop, or an existing VNC server according to the exact target and the organization's approved policy.

02

Keep identity and authorization explicit

Use current Windows authentication or one-time credentials, with attended approval or explicitly enrolled organization-managed access where appropriate.

03

Operate without hidden security changes

LanRemoteAssist reports firewall, endpoint-security and policy blocks without weakening those controls or attempting alternate execution techniques.

Frequently asked questions

Secure remote access software FAQ

What is secure remote access software?

Secure remote access software helps authorized users reach and support remote computers through an authenticated connection and an approved access policy.

Does every connection require the LanRemoteAssist Agent?

No. RDP and VNC are independent modes. The Agent is required only for the native LanRemoteAssist protocol.

Is Linux supported?

The current released Console and Agent target Windows environments. Linux support is planned and will not be represented as available until it has been implemented and verified.

Are connection passwords stored?

No. Windows connection passwords are kept only for the active attempt and cleared after success, failure, cancellation or timeout.
