Does RDP require the LanRemoteAssist Agent?
No. Remote Desktop is a normal independent connection mode and Windows enforces its own RDP authentication, authorization and certificate policy.
Can I use a local Windows administrator?
Yes. Leave Domain empty and the Console qualifies the entered user as an account local to the selected target where the Windows API requires it.
Are connection passwords saved?
No. Windows connection passwords are retained only for the active attempt and are cleared after success, failure, cancellation or timeout.
Does the application change Windows security settings?
No. LanRemoteAssist reports policy or firewall blocks and does not silently weaken Windows security controls.
